糙米飯 Brown Rice

材料
Ingredients

糙米 1杯米=2碗飯
Brown Rice 1 cup of uncooked brown rice=2 bowls of cooked brown rice
水 1杯米=1.8杯水
Water 1 cup of uncooked brown rice=1.8 cups of water

準備
Preparation

1. 洗兩次米:把米倒進電子鍋內鍋,再倒水至水位微微高過米就好,用手洗米。洗好米後,微微傾斜內鍋就可以把水倒掉又把米留在鍋內。重複此步驟,洗第二次米。
1. Rinse the rice for 2 times: Pour the rice into the inner pot of an electric cooker, add water until it covers the rice, and rinse the rice with your hands. After rinsing the rice, tilt the pot a bit so that you can pour the water away and leave the rice inside the pot. Repeat this step to rinse the rice for the second time.

2. 米泡水30分鐘:把洗完米的水倒掉,讓米泡在乾淨的水30分鐘,讓米在煮的時候比較快熟。
2. Soak the rice for 30 mins: Pour away the water, and add clean water to soak the rice for 30 minutes. Rice can be cooked within shorter time if soaked.

作法
Steps

1. 煮飯:把泡過米的水倒掉,接著以1杯米:1.8杯水的比例,把水倒進內鍋。把內鍋放進電子鍋裡,並將電子鍋插上電,按「煮飯」。再等大概半小時,顯示「保溫」時,飯就煮好了!
1. Cook the rice: Pour away the water, and add 1.8 cups of water every 1 cup of rice. Put the inner pot into the electric cooker, plug it in the power cord, and press "Steam." After about half an hour, "Steam" will change into "Keep Warm", and the rice is cooked!
